Purina Rebrand

This is a conceptual rebrand I did of the pet food brand, Purina. I wanted to update their logo and brand identity to feel more friendly and more recognizable. When drawing the initial sketches for their logo, I noticed that the "P" in "Purina" could be manipulated to look like the head of a dog, so I aligned the rest of the name to look like the body of a dog in a sitting position for the primary logo.

Above are the sketches and rough thumbnails for various logo ideas I designed at the start of the process of rebranding Purina. Since this was a school project, I got great feedback on each of my ideas.

Here, I represent the icons I illustrated for the brand on a company truck, and designed an example of a social media advertisement using my own dog, Freddie.
